i have a great boyfriend. i think we are moving towards getting married, and i love him lots!!
but there is this one guy that i had a crush on Before i started dating my boyfriend, and he popped up into my life again! (part of the same group i hang out with at least 2 times a week). of course i know that i am completely dedicated and committed to my boyfriend, and i would NEVER do anything inappropriate with the old crush. but does it ever make u wonder sometimes, what it'd be like if u had at least dated that person??
i do feel that overall my relationship is so great that i don't need to search anywhere else.. but i wonder if people have that "what if" sensation sometimes....? he is very smart, interesting and seems like a great person to get to know..but i do think that overall it would be best to just stay acquaintances, and not get to know him too well.

Yeah, I get the "what if..." feeling occasionally. But it's no use thinking about it because, if you're happy with your current guy, that's all that matters.

I think we all do. No matter how many people one dated in the past there are still a lot of people we could have dated and possibly been happy with. As long as it is only an occasional thought, I wouldn't worry about it. The grass always seems greener on the other side. It's true.

having a little fling can cause great damage. i won't sacrifice a wonderful relationship to a small pleasure such as that. yes, it is tempting. sometimes, i also think of this kind of situation but in the end, i know it isn't just worth it. i ask myself, "would this person also do this for me in case it's the other way around?"

everyone wonders "what if" about people they have known. the fact that you have posted this question shows that you are thinking a lot about this person. you will either have to decide that your boyfriend means enough to you to continue on, or a breakup could possibly be in your future. You have to decide.
