its just not guys that do it its girls too but i think why ppl cheat is that they cant stay down with one person or they get tired of just being with one person its not like u are not trying too settle down but some people cant handle it with one person and if thats the case they should tell the person they are with that they dont want too be with 1person i just dont like when ppl say ooo its because im not ready for a realtionship thats why i did it hell no its ur choice to do it dont blame it on the realtionship or the person u are with but to me ppl do it because they cant handle being with 1 person

This is just an opinion of a 45 yo male,so take it as such.
Not ALL males cheat,and the ones that do,belong in the gutter with all the other trash.
There is a saying with the older generation of males.
"All Ladies are female,but NOT all females are Ladies".
The same holds true for the males.
"All Gentlemen are males,but NOT all males are Gentlemen".
You must decide what qualities you want & DO NOT want in a male,and stick to it! DO NOT settle for less!
If you are looking for commitment, then find a man who is also looking for the same.
You must remember 2 things though.
#1)Before you can be sweethearts,you must be friends first. Friendship is the foundation of a lifelong commitment.
#2)Sex does NOT always equal true love.
A relationship based on sex will in time fall apart.
A relationship based on true love,will stand strong forever.
Unfortunatly, MOST males fail to understand this.

Because I truly believe men weren't created to have only one woman. Look back at the bible, those men had hundreds of wives. The only rule was that he had to be financially and sexually able to keep them all. That's it. Do I agree, no, of course not. I would be devastated if my fiance cheated on me and I would leave him, but I do understand that it is not their essential nature to be with one woman. But they aren't animals, they are supposedly intelligent beings who are able to make CHOICES. Cheating is a choice, plain and simple. The devil didn't make him cheat and it's not a dick thing either. At some point in every man's life he has to CHOOSE what's important to him. And until your man is ready to choose you as the important thing, he'll cheat. So if he cheated once and you don't like it, leave him because chances of him changing anytime soon are slim. Good luck.

well...there are all kinds of different reasons. sometimes if a man in a relationship is not getting enough out of it, he may go look for that quality in some other girl.
then you get the guy who is just looking for some fun and ended up getting himself tangled up so...in a refusal to be committed in any way he'll just go and cheat.
those are the two main reasons i would say but at the end of the day it's down to taking your time with a guy and getting to know what he really wants out of relationship.sex?friendship??whatever.taking your time is important though.
but you do get a BIG percentage of guys who just can't keep it in their pants and regret that later on in life!!

I think that is a bit harsh, both men and women cheat for many reasons, yes its not nice but its the way the world is, if life was perfect then it'd be boring. Yes it hurts but we all get over it and move on.
Someone who makes you cry id not worth the tears, someone who is worth the tears will not make you cry!

We create our realities in our minds, then we blame others when we get what WE created. Guys are cheating on you because that is what you expect in your reality.
As long as you believe this thought, then you will continue to meet guys who cheat on you.
It is your reality, not anyone elses. It just so happens that your reality is, indeed, played out for a lot of people.
Define your space and only accept men who wouldn't dream of "cheating".
Bear in mind, as well, that usually when people are accusing others of a particular action, it is because they are thinking of doing it themselves.
Clean up what's in your mind and your world will change.

That's a generalization. Many women cheat on men also. Usually they get something that is missing in their current relationship from someone else instead of trying to improve their current relationship.

Whoa with the generalisations there, women cheat too. I agree with what's been said on it being likley to be linked to women being attracted to the wrong type of man, go for the bad boy what do you expect?

Seriously, though, it isn't "cheating". Human beings are not built for monogamy or mono-relationships. We naturally seek out other partners to mate with. That's why you see people you fancy ... inherently, you are considering them as a gene donor.
Did you know why some people naturally smell nice to you? It is because they have the genes you do not. People with similar genes to you can smell a little odd. They don't to others, but will do to you.
So, forget these outdated notions of cheating ... being "faithful" was introduced by the Church in about the 11th century to stop women shagging around, not men, and to keep them under control

Well, we get bored being with the same woman. I've never cheated, but I know the reason why if I ever should do it.
