How does an illegal immigrant travel to that country anyways?

If it's illegal, how do they do it without geting caught?? Do they use fake ids/passports? Is that why it's illegal? or some other reasons?

The vast majority simply walk into the other nation, be that Morrocans entering Spain or Mexicans the United States.

well there is actually many ways to do it , as the the second answerer said some just walk across the border but most of the ways to do it are pretty dangerous and not advisable to do therefor i would recomend no to do it . many come from very far away and are able to hire a coyote ( smuggler ) which most of the time are people they never seen before who by the way sometimes leave them to die on the desert or beat them up and steal the little money they may have . there is also many others who come legally with real visas and passports and then when they expire they do not leave therefor lose their documents and can be deported if they are caught .

most immigrants come to the USA because they not able to find a job or they have one which is as much as ten times smaller than what they would do in the USA . there is also many who had lost all their possessions and just feel fustrated and decide to leave their countries . most immigrants are pretty hard workers and will take any job they are offered therefor they are apreciated by Americans who give them jobs and do not care about their legal status . some had become tired of the violence which is produced by weapons which are smuggle into their countries from rich countries which keep the violence increasing by buying drugs from criminals . most immigrants do not cause harm and have the only objetive of helping their families back in their countries and many times to help themselves out of their poverty

there is many reason of why they do it and many ways to do it of course one could only hope that nobody actually had to do it ever and that they were able to find a good pay for their jobs back into their countries , therefor making fair bussiness with them is the only thing which deterrs them from even thinking to leave their so loved countries . there is also very important to mention than they are an essencial part of the American economy and that the consequescies of not having them are not good at all :

Here in the USA we have long borders.About 2000 miles for our southern border with Mexico.A lot of the border is desolate and barren land that is unpopulated and thus unguarded.We cant seem to guard our borders with enough Border Patrol Agents to keep all illegal from entering.They simply walk or drive across the border. Some enter legally with a visa and just become illegal when they don't leave or cant or don't renew it.

A person can enter a country legally, say on a tourist visa. If they stay past the expiration date of the visa then they become an illegal alien.

It can be done several way. (Take careful notes here)
You can sneak across the border in the dark of the night. That's getting tougher. You can pay a Coyote, (an illegal alien smuggler several $$$$ to get you across, Say $5000) or you can come here on a Visa. Just fly on in like anyone. Then, when your visa ends. You just stay on and try and not get caught. IN America we don't have the "Illegal Immmigrant Police" like we need to have. There are one of them for every 10,000 illegals. So it's hard on those poor people who police. They can't get the job done. We are working on all that. There are other ways but that should give you and idea.

They sneak across the border because we do not have enough border guards. They are smuggled, and they overstay their visas, among other things.

with a proper tourist visa they can VISIT for up to 90 days
