The propaganda political claim is that "Americans won't do the work." This is a lie. Americans won't do the work for slave wages. Mexico says they have to import workers for the work "Mexicans won't do." The real truth is the employers want to unrealistically low wages to make a higher profit. When a worker pays no federal withholding, and maybe only FICA, they can work for less and keep more of their net pay. The illegals and employers are cheating American citizens. The illegals get free food, housing, medical, dental, and other social services. The taxpayer pays for this, while the employers reap larger porfits, and the illegals use American workers efforts for their own benefit. This is wrong.

Illegal immigration is a horrible thing for MANY reasons: the fact that they undercut working Americans is simply ONE of them. One of many. Outsourcing....I don't like it either. But it IS legal and it occurs because the Americans who own stocks want the companies to have the highest possible return, which comes from making the most profit. When that doesn't happen....then the companies outsource. Unions are NOT helpful in this situation. UAW would rather see GM go out of business then take wage cuts. No wonder the Japanese auto makers are kicking our butts! They make a better, cheaper product. Its awfully complicated, no question. And it isn't anywhere quite as simple or single issued as you make it.

Because they think that everyone in the US should have at least a batchelor´s degree and qualify to get the top paying jobs but that just isn´t plausible. The pro-illegals don´t take into consideration all the mentally and physically disabled people in America who have a right to the jobs illegals are taking. Not everyone in the US is intellectually or economically capable of taking their education to the highest level and they should not be expected to either.

If I understand you correctly ...it is so their brother in law, the illegal, can have that job. 30% approx. of US citizens are Hispanic. Can't keep uncle Jose around the house all day, we need to get him a job and put him to work.
Actually, there has been a time in our country where we did not have enough cheap labor. During that time the influx began. NOW, they have become so many, that they have put any lower paying/workers out of biz. Americans can't compete and live a normal life style. We need to pay higher wages and hire less illegals. That simple. The fat cat (or any middle classer) doesn't want to pay more for stuff. Herein lies the problem.
Love to see how Washington handles this one.

Of course you will have the people who say "Americans are lazy and won't get off their ***, they just collect welfare."
How about this? For each illegal we deport, they should take one American citizen who is either homeless, jobless, or on welfare and stick them in the job the illegal had. They are jobs that require no skills, so anyone could be considered qualified.
We could say good bye to ungrateful illegals, and help the poor and homeless at the same time.
If we still have an overwhelming need for lower class citizens... we'll call you, Mexico.

i agree where did you hear that it's more like the jobless here look at the cleaning toilets and working with food prep and all of the other min wage jobs as loser positions hey you have to start somewhere i think if it had not been made for people here to collect gov money there would noty be so many poor they would have to work instead of waiting for a check and food stamps every month

They want their boyfriends and husbands to have jobs. It is easier to blame the victims than to see what they are doing to them. They dehumanize them by calling them names and saying that if they can't get hired over an illegal then they don't deserve the job. Then they stick their fingers in their ears and sing la la la la la la la la la when someone tries to explain that many places are corrupt and won't hire citizens.

Why would some able bodied Americans want to get off their rear ends and stop collecting welfare ? C'mon man think about it !
Hmmm, pay an American $7.50 or minimum wage to shovel crap or some illegal immigrat who is greatful to have a job $4.00 for the same thing ? If I owned a business I would do the same thing !
