Good idea MJ.

"Sensible" is whatever I say it is. My Group, my rules.

Of course we can do both. How else could we discuss the silliness here?

Does this mean there will be less complaining about the "moron league" on the dog boards? I mean, now people will be able to complain about it in the user group, and there won't be a need to waste space on the boards with it. Right?

I for one am getting very tired of all the questions that are really rants about how the "moron league" never learns, asks the same questions, and picks the best answers that agree with the asker. Oddly enough, these annoying questions always pick the best answers that agree with them, too, and their rants are always the same too.

I sincerely hope that the creation of your user group will increase the helpfulness of YA dogs. This way, the dog experts can go elsewhere with their bitter ranting, and then come back here and be helpful once it's out of their system.

I said it before, we need a test to determine who can be a member. I love the idea. Not that I have anything against these kids but some of the questions are just repetitive and created just to get attention. You get it started and I'll see if I can qualify.

But, we have to stay in touch with the general public here, or only the morons with much more personal opinions than facts and anthropomorphic 'feelings' rather than what is right for their pets will be the ones left giving answers...and more dogs will end up dumped at shelters. We are the frontline, like it or not.

Only if we can do both?

There are a blue zillion dog groups on yahoo so another one isn't really helpful. Plus, the people who really need to be talking on the public forum ARE the sensible ones. They need to be sharing rational and thoughtful answers to those who are in need.

OK, but how will you decide who is sensible?
I only have rescue dogs from the shelter and I think that is sensible.

Hee hee... If you have to ask what's sensible, chances are you're not getting in. Kind of like if you have to ask how much it costs you can't afford it. :)

I'd love to join your thinking dog club -- but do not have email enabled on YA (didn't really want comments from the peanut gallery filling my box everyday). Can you email me? jobs@comtelpm.com Thanks!

That is exactly what you need to do ,everyone and every question asked according to you is stupid.Better yet why don't you just move on to Psychology supreme beings so you will have only approved questions.Good luck!!!!!!!
