I need desperate spiritual guidance. I have been seperated from religion, and even more importantly, God.
How do I get Back to Him?

I find the best way to do soul-searching is to go for very long walks in quiet places. Think about how you feel about God - and more importantly, how you define it. Him. Whatever. Start there, and then decide what role, if any, religion can play in helping you relate to this concept. If there's a religion that would serve you in your relationship with the Almighty, go that way. If there isn't one... just make it personal and be happy.

To get back to God is as easy as asking for forgiveness of your sins (truly from the heart) and asking Jesus Christ into your heart. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John3: 3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Talk to Him. He is there; near, nearer to you than anyone else, nearer than you can imagine. You have been separated form Him but He has never abandoned you and has kept watching over you and will keep doing so fo ever.
Reach out for Him; take a step to find Him, He will take two to contain you.

o to church Sunday morning and respond if there is an alter call. I would recommend an Un Denominational church, Pentecostal Holiness or Assembly of God church. There are other good ones out there, but that is where I would start. I wish you the best.,

Start a dialog with Him. Ask Him to come into your life and to forgive you from walking away from Him.
Ask Him to give you a new heart.
Read the book of John and find a good church to attend.

Have you received Jesus as savior? If not, you need to confess your sins and receive his gift of salvation. Get on your knees and speak to God as your heavenly Father tell him you've lost your way and you need him to help you find it.
