I'll answer your rhetorical question....I spent 34 mos in Vietnam and never even saw "chemical weapons" except the mustard, and bio agents used on the Vietnamese people by their own NVA and the Vietcong!
The US never deployed any type of biological or chemical weapons ....PERIOD!!!
I cannot understand where and how you come up with these asinine theories.
I will say that Agent Orange was used to defoliate certain areas, but the areas were occupied by US troops, I have been covered head to toe with it for days upon days and have never suffered any ill effects at all!!
Remember that 60% of the local villagers were killed by the North Vietnamese government!!

The US never used chemical weapons in Vietnam. The US did use the defoliating chemical known as 'agent orange' to kill off large sections of forest so that it would be easier to move heavy equipment and easier to see enemy movements. It is questionable whether it was known that agent orange is carcinogenic at the time it was used, causing disease in a large number of vietnamese and american servicemen.

However, agents such as nerve gases or mustard gases were not used, or even deployed in theater.

Shhhh don't tell people about that. Otherwise they might start asking where Saddam got the chemical weapons he used on the Kurds and Iranians.
