I think so. I think it's just the same as saying they are hypersensitive to heat or cold

I get hives when I'm exposed to something cold, even touching a door knob. I get hives, and then I swell a lot and then it burns. I need a blanket during the summer when travel ling with family, with the air conditioner is on. I think I suffer from Cold Urticaria. I can't drink anything cold, my lips swell.

My sister if she's exposed to the sun, she gets hives, and heat
rash. Even if its for a little bit, the odd thing is it shows up after wards, 5-7 hours later.

I'm not sure if its an allergy, or a skin problem. But, there are people out there that suffer from the heat and cold.

I never heard of such an allergy but certain seasons can cause some skin conditions. Like for me heat makes me itchy no matter whether it's hot outside or I put the heat in the winter. I wouldn't say it's an allergy just a reaction.

You can be allergic to the sun. Google it and look up info. Try using more sunscreen than normal and testing it out again. If you still have the same reaction then definitely go to a doctor and don't feel silly asking any questions. Good luck!

YES!

It is called Vasomotor rhinitis, and it is actually a non allergic reaction....there are several "triggers" but oversensitive or excessive blood vessels cause an overreaction to such stimuli as changes in weather, temperature, or barometric pressure. This is really the simple explanation and there is more to it.

I have had this for years and sneeze every time I go from a warmer temperature to a colder temperature....

For more info go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vasomotor_rhinitis
