I have a new DVD burner with light scribe, is this something that is possible using Nero, or do I need to put DVD disk in my scanner and scan it to a file and then burn it to new DVD disk that a way?

I have a light scribe DVD burner that will burn the image straight on the DVD disk so I dont' have to use the peel and stick labels anymore

so from the sounds of it in order to get a nice color label I would need to scan disk in my scanner then print a paper label and stick that on the new disk?......right?

I just scan the dvd in a scanner and save the label image as a bmp or jpg. Then I just load the image into a labelling software, and print the label off on label paper. Then I peel the label off and stick it on the disc.

You will need to scan the label of the original disk and save it on your hard drive.

Unfortunately, you may be a little disappointed with the results. Lightscribe will only burn in one colour ... depending on which Lightscribe drive you have, it will either be in black, red, green or blue.

You are aware, aren't you, that you need to use Lightscribe disks to burn the picture on?
