There isn't any polarity. The DOD 512 requires 9V AC (not DC) at 750mA. That's what the sinewave symbol next to the jack means. The PS750 is the original power supply part number for this unit, but any 9VAC adapter with at least 750mA and the same size connector will work. The PS0913B is the factory replacement supply now that the PS750's been discontinued. It supplies 1300mA (or 1.3A) and you can find them quite easily on the internet at Amazon, eBay, or Google for others.
