I've asked this question before but I didn't get enough answers so I will ask again.

I would like to know difference between studio, bachelor, bachelor suite and loft apartment. If anyone knows about it, please let me know. I think I kind of know what studio and loft is...but not exactly sure about bachelor or bachelor suite.

Thanks in advance!

Oh i just realized that this topic might not be in right category...sorry about that.

Anyhow...they seems to have significant difference for their rent price. From that, I was assuming they are completely different things.

A loft and studio apartment is pretty much the same thing except space/sq. footage. A loft implies much more space and sometimes unfinished walls or ceilings; a studio apartment indicates a small apartment. Both a loft & studio apartment include a kitchen area.

A bachelor's apartment is the same thing as a motel room: a bedroom with a bathroom, but no room for a kitchen area. Frequently bachelor's apartments are typically found in bigger cities for salesmen or other types who may have several residences and this is an alternative for a frequent hotel stays.

BACHELOR APARTMENT:
A small rental dwelling unit which combines living and bedroom spaces into one room (and, sometimes, kitchen space as well). Also known as "efficiency suite" or "studio apartment".
Bachelor Suite: a private room to yourself where the kitchen is part of the same room as the bedroom and living room.

Studio, efficiency, bedsit and bachelor style apartments all tend to be the smallest apartments with the cheapest rents in a given area. These kinds of apartment usually consist mainly of a large room which is the living, dining, and bedroom combined. There are usually kitchen facilities as part of this central room, but the bathroom is its own smaller separate room

They are all basically single rooms. The names have been changed depending on the size of the room. Studios, Loft are usually very large. Bachelor , bachelor suite's are quite small.

studio- is a 1 room apartment without a living room and dining room its usually 1 big space and then a room my sister had a studio and its really small unless you get a 1 bedroom studio then youll have one bedroom and a big space..a bachelor suite is something men just call there apartments because the single and living alone..so we can call ours a bachelorette suite. a loft is like living in a store..its just all one big space..depend on how you deck it out..its great
