I prefer to say,
"God is a lie."
It is so much more direct.

There is an ultimate objective moral law, or code. Therefore, there is a law giver. This is God. It would go against everything that God is, to lie, even if he could fool us. This may be hard to comprehend, by humans that are not perfect, etc. You are actually, pulling the same exact trick here, that satan did in the garden of eden, you do realize that don't you? He does NOT go against his own nature. Being perfect, there is no desire to lie, either. ITs not like he is just being good, and not lying. Also, there is nothing in it for him to lie. Those are a few, and they are big reasons ,for him to be unable or have a will or desire to lie. I am sure there are more. At least we know who's side you're on. He simply does no wrong, so your questions and points you tried to make, are pointless.

Apparently God _could_ lie if he wanted to, but he won't because lying would be wrong, and God doesn't want to do things that are wrong.
Except that lying is only wrong because God said it was wrong. There is no absolute Right or Wrong, except what was defined by God. So if God decides tomorrow that murdering, raping, and pillaging is Right, then is God wrong? Of course not; God is always Right, by definition. So it shall be written, so it shall be done.
Not only could God decide that it's okay for him to lie and not mention it to anyone, God could up and decide that while he _was_ granting eternal life to those who believeth in him, he's not going to do it anymore. Or he'll keep doing it for some people, but not for you, no matter how much you believe. You can't say God can't or won't commit such a transgression, because God is fundamentally incapable of a transgression: whatever God does _becomes_ right by definition.
That's the trouble with having your sense of morality bound up inextricably with a fickle supernatural being who hasn't dropped any hints about his true intentions in over 2,000 years.

Not a Christian, but their bible says:
2 Chronicles 18:22 Now therefore, behold, the Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of these thy prophets.
2 Thessalonians 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

Ah, but your premise has problems. Nobody ever said that "God can do anything He wants" except willfully ignorant "skeptics" trying to trip up Christians. The correct statement is: God can do anything He wants in the sense that He is not impeded by any external influence; but He cannot do anything which is contrary to His nature.
Lying is contrary to His nature - therefore he cannot lie. It's on a par with saying "why can't God create a rock so big that He can't lift it" - because no such thing is possible.

God lies in the Bible for the express purpose of setting people up in a perverse test of loyalty:
2 Thessalonians 2:11-12
Therefore God sends upon them a strong delusion, to make them believe what is false, so that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
This would disturb me if I believe in the Bible God but I don't.

it somewhat is the priority with lowering faith to rewards and punishments, and in basic terms after dying. what's the character of salvation? If Christianity affirms the reality of grace, then why has there been such an emphasis on ultimate perception? Why do human beings proceed to stick to a Kindergarden point of concept to ideas approximately God, salvation, sin and justice?

You are wrong! God is honest with his believers and he would not lie to me. You probably don't appreciate him like I do. When I get to heaven, I don't want to see you for what you've just wrote. I AM a christian and I WILL respect God with each and every move of my life. I would'nt dare believe that he would lie to me.

no. there is a limit to what god wants. god is the almighty, he is perfect. in that sense he can't ever lie. its just god. god doesn't lie. you get these ideas from satan. he wants you to think that god lies. but in that same sense satan lies. god is perfect. he has never made any mistakes. there is always a reason for what he does. we might not know the reason right now, but we will find out later in life. sorry thats just a ridiculus question, god doesn't lie.

It is not a question of "CAN" God do anything. Simply put it, God is a merciful God and Will not lie to us. He loves us and sent his ONLY son to die for us (to die for you too).
The fact is, that lying is evil, and evil cannot exist in the presence of God.
You mock God and Christians, and that is your (God-Given) right. That does not change the fact that God loves you and will save you if that is your desire.
I will pray for you.

GOD is truth and the devil a liar. It's in the Bible.
GOD does not have to lie. HE's in control no matter how evil the days may seem or hateful people can be.
