White Pasta Sauce

3 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons flour
salt
white pepper
2 1/2 cups milk
parmesan cheese, freshly grated
shrimp, cooked, shelled and deveined
fresh parsley, chopped

Melt butter in a saucepan over med.
heat. Whisk in flour until smooth.
Slowly add the milk whisking continuously until smooth.
Bring to a boil and boil for about 1 minute or until the sauce is as thick as you like. Add the salt, pepper and cheese. Stir.
Add the pre-cooked shrimp.
Serve over pasta.
You can also add any other seafood that you like to this sauce or leave it out. I have also added chicken that was sauteed in garlic and olive oil.
This recipe also doubles well.
Sprinkle chopped parsley over to garnish. Top with extra grated parmesan cheese.

parmesan cheese, heavy whipping cream & butter/margarine. i believe it takes mostly parmesan cheese & you have to almost boil the cream & butter together first. it makes some very creamy & extra tasty alfredo sauce. I have a friend who doesn't know how to cook & wanted to make a dinner for her then-bf (now husband).....I told her to use all that & make some pasta & it turned out excellent for her first time. (i was also there to "supervise" too.)

very simple and delicious
in blender mix 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
one tablespoon of flower or corn starch (is better)
1 cup of milk
mix in the blender and then into a saucepan
and stir until it has the consistency you want
add salt to taste and if you like nutmeg
you can add a touch too.
easy and fool proof.
Done it thousands of time and my mother before me
