I love the shirts that say "Our God is a Great God"...implying the presence of other Gods, and violating a major commandment.

All of your questions boil down to one more question. What is the true word of God, the Bible or the Quaran? The answer to that is the Bible. Why? Well it was written first for one. Two :the sources that wrote the Bible are more credible than that of the Quaran. The Bible or Jesus has witnesses where Muhammad has none. You can't explain away the miracles that Jesus did or the prophecies he fulfilled that all prove that he is indeed divine. He, after know all that he did, said that He and the Father are one. He claimed to be God and proved it. The biblical accounts of Jesus were all written within 10 to 70 years after his death, burial, and resurrection. His ascension was witnessed. Muhammad wrote the Quaran 750-1000 years after Christ...How could he know more about Christ then Christ's disciples...The answer is -- He could not have and did not!
So where does all of that miniscule information leave us. That if you believe in a God, you are not an ahtiest. If you believe in Jesus (who is God), you are not an athiest. Jesus in not just a messenger, The Church is not some building, it is the assembly of believers everywhere....
I hope this in some way answers your question..

People are human. No one has answers to anything. What do you suppose "people of faith" really means? Think about it.
Faith.
That is what you by--the belief that something is true.
Do you really think someone has the ULTIMATE answer to any of these questions? Come on!!
Life is all about making a choice, whatever it is.
I would like to think people make choices that make them happy. Why would you even want to be on this planet if it's not to bring happiness to yourself and to those around you?
Do you live for your 9-5 job or your waiter or garbage man job? Those are means to an end, the fact we all have to survive and eat.
What really matters is how you live. Why can't people see that. It really doesn't take a rocket scientist.
And if you believe all the garbage that tv-land and magazines feed you about what is "real" and what you should aspire to be, you may as well jump off a cliff. Few people achieve that lifestyle and look at those who do...do you really think they are happy those miserable little pogo sticks that can barely stand up due to starvation? They're the most screwed up lot of all.
So get real and make the most of what you've got. You never know when your number is up.

No. A Christian, which by the correct and original definition (reference the Book of Acts in the Bible) follows the way of Christ, believes that the sixty-six books we know as the Bible to be the perfect word of God. He or she believes that Christ was and is the only-begotten Son of God, come down in history at the predetermined place and time to live the perfect sinless life on earth as a man, die a criminal's death, and pay in 3 days' and 3 nights' (72 hours') time the entire penalty of God's wrath against all He would save from their sins. Jesus was and is the perfect Lamb of God, the atoning sacrifice who stood in my place, to bear the penalty for my sins so that I along with all the rest of His chosen ones, would be able to spend eternity in His kingdom and in His presence, forever cleansed and made whole, holy and able to obey Him.

the word athiest seems to be overused now adays...they believe in nothing at all, so if you believe that there is a higher power at all, that includes Jesus, the sun, or whatever else, than you are not an athiest. So no, people of faith have FAITH in something, a belief in things unseen. Now is Jesus the son of God? In my opinion yes He is and was...He has proven himself to be through sign and miracles and fulfilling hundreds of prophesies in the bible...and just like you would find out anything else in your life, if you try out Christianity, your bound to find the truth if you truly try to experience it...

I'm not, I believe in GOD. I believe the BIBLE is the spoken word of GOD. Jesus is the son of GOD and he died for me and you. I made the personal decision to believe in him and now he resides in me. I hate you overexamine GOD & religion. There will be no atheists in Hell.

Although they may be intolerant of gods and superstitional beliefs outside their own, they still harbor a belief in a god and therefore cannot be called an Atheist. They are merely intolerant delusionalists.

I suppose that one could look at this as a form of selective atheism. But to me, the term "atheism" suggests a belief in no deities whatsoever. A religionist believes in his or her own concept of the divine, which no true atheist would.

you're confusting the concept of atheism with the concepts of idolatry and heresy. idolators and heretics are not atheists, rather they either worship a different god or have a differing opinion as to god than others.
atheists claim to know there is no god. a very different concept indeed.
