well its to late to do the ebay thing and to late to have one made. I would check in www.superpages.com and look up bridal wear or formalwear it will give you the address and phone number of a place near you. I would only use davids bridal as a last resort. My husband and mother owned a bridal company and also did alterations. at least 90% of their alterations came from davids bridal. I personnally heard that the customer was told it looked good or it fit fine and once it was bought the customer was asked if they would like the dress to be altered to fix a flaw that a few minutes before the sales person said looked fine or that's how its supposed to look. They make more money off of alterations than the dresses themselves sometimes. wedding dress alterations 4 years ago started at $80.00 and could take anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks. I would seriously recommend using a different store. You also might try renting a dress of looking at a consignment shop also. Renting a dress is the easiest they take walk-ins usually and if it needs altered they do it while you wait and usually dont give you a fuss about anything. run a search through superpages and check out your options though.

go to any bridal salon.. if you don't know any then check the yellow pages.. I'm sure you'll find something in there. You can also check 2nd hand stores like salvation army or good will. I myself have a wedding dress stored in my mom's attic. I'll never fit into again... I would never spend that kinda money on a dress or any article of clothing !!! I only spent $200 on my dress.. wore it for an hr and off it came to never be put back on!

i desire greater of a backyard variety wedding ceremony... like at an extremely superb southern plantation, have the marriage cerimony interior the interior mid-day, with the reception exterior interior the night while it cools down. i desire chinese language (or is it eastern?) lantern-esque lighting fixtures with yellow roses and accents of orange with the biggest shade being white. in basic terms some human beings from the two edge of the kin (like 15-25 each and each). and the nutrition would be set up like an stylish buffet. thats all i've got been given so some distance, yet i think of it's going to be the appropriate wedding ceremony for me (if my destiny husband likes it too).

I agree David's Bridal would be your best bet. Most bridal stores need more time to do alterations and what not.
