how do you know if eggs are fertilized?

my parakeet laid some eggs and i dont know is there fertilized or not

Can they be "candled" like other eggs???? Hold them in front of a bright light and see.

Shine a light at them, and it ther is a darker spot in the egg(that gets bigger as time goes on), they are fertilized.

Take them into a dark room. Shine a flashlight through them. If there is a dark spot then they are fertile, if there is no spot they are unfertile.
