Can we walk to the shops from the cruise ship dock?

The ship tenders just outside of the bay and usually hires two tenders to ferry passengers between the ship and one of the docks. It depends on the cruise line as to which dock you will be delivered to. Both docks are within an easy walk of downtown Avalon, one is right in downtown and the other is to the south of downtown.

If I remember correctly Carnival delivers you to the downtown dock.
