I want to hand some pictures in my bedroom but I don't have any frames. I am not a very creative person because I am only a teenager. I don't want to scratch the walls because my parents would go insane! Help Me!

1. Tie a string across your vanity mirror or across your wall and use clothes pins to hold photos to it.

2. Hang a large strip of colourful fabric from your wall and pin photos to the fabric.

Have fun with it!

String a thick piece of yarn or wire across the walls (you will only have to make 3-4 small holes in your wall (one on each end of the string and a few spaced throughout to prevent too much sagging). Then using alligator clips (like paperclips but they clamp down) or fancy paperclips, attach your pictures to the string.
Or you can try using old CDs and cut the pictures slightly smaller than the CD. Glue it centered on the inside of the CD and you will have funky round pictures to place around (hang these up with puddy meant to attach items to the wall).
Finally, go easy. Buy the biggest corkboard you can afford (you might be able to do one 2-3 feet wide that goes floor to ceiling or you could get a few large squares). Paint the corkboard any color you want and have your parents help you hang it on the wall. Then you can hang as many pictures as you want using thumbtacks.

Use tape instead of staples or thumbtacks if your parents are that anal. But thumbtacks are easier. What you can do is make a collage of pictures in different areas on your walls. Example, if you have a whole bunch of pictures that you took in the summer, put them on your wall collage style. Then go to the next area of your wall and make a collage of christmas pictures, the next area, friends and so on and so forth. Then you can buy cute little trinkets or wall art, or just things around the house, like a baseball cap or plastic flowers, sea shells, to put next to each theme. I am sure if you go to a crafts store where you can buy some stuff that you can put on the wall and not damage it. I hope this helps. I actually did that once with cards I got from people and I was a teenager. It looked really cool. My friends loved it. I hope this helps.

If you don't get frames then you could use double sided tape. Tell your parents to lighten up or have one of your parents hang them for you that way they can scratch the wall. Another idea is get a huge cork board and you can use push pins to hang dozens of pics on it and the board will be the only thing actually hanging on the wall.

You can use a long piece of ribbon, string, hemp, whatever and string it along a wall (you might have to put a thumb tack at each end and anywhere you want it lifted) then you can use decorated clothes pins or clips of any kind to hang your pictures.

Or you can take a curtain rod (look in your parents basement or closets, garage sales, thrift stores) (again you'd need 2 holes probly) then you cut cardboard frames, different shapes and sizes decorated them with whatever you like (markers, paints, scrap-booking stuff, clippings from magazines, whatever) adhere your pics to them and hang by again, ribbons or yarn, hemp whatever.

Lets see...you can use the blue putty stuff to hang pictures, or I also had a friend that used binder clips, use the blue putty to stick the binder clip to the wall and clip your pics in, looks pretty cool.

I went to Walmart and got a peice of fabric that matches her quilt on her bed (for my daughters room). I got a fairly big peice. Then I sewed the ends under (just so it wouldn't fray, it took like 3 minutes). Then we layed in on the floor and got some stick pins and pinned the pictures onto the fabric... (we did it in checkered pattern, so that the cloth would show, since it matched her room). Then all we did was put a few nails or pins to pin the sheet to the wall. It cost very little (you can get fabric in a clearance bin too). and it is very creative and holds as many pictures as the sheet is big.

You can take some knitting yard or kite string and make a "clothes line" effect from one corner to answer and hang from either tiny nails or staple it to the wall(be sure to get as close to the corner as you can,to avoid "holes" from being seen) then take clothes pins( like used to hang laundry outside) and clip each picture to the line with them. This way you can string as many or as few as you want. Also, you could crisscross them across the room for another effect. Or hang them above the windows, etc. Lots of ideas with doing this. I even did it with several 8x10 photos on several lines across a window to make a "curtain" since I didn't have money to buy one. It worked well, and was a "conversation piece" when friends dropped by.

There is a product that looks like silly putty [sorry, can't remeber the name] that you can buy at hardware stores [ask the clerks] and it will hold your posters or pictures with out tearing up the drywall. As for hanging them, just try out a few ways that appeal to you...maybe lay them out on your bed or floor first till you get an arrangement you like.. just hang them at an easy viewing height...not too high

you scrapbook right? use the sticky things you use to stick your pics to the pages, to stick them to the wall... heck get even more creative, glue the pics to colorful paper first, too look like a frame, then pick one wall and go at it... random and colorfull... nice.
