Well according to Christians self defeating doctrine, you have faith in yourself in vain! You'll never be good enough; you'll never triumph, only to fall short of glory in the end. lol
Btw faith is in applying what you know towards an ideal. Be it spiritually or physically. Either way, your faith is proved by that which you are willing to live up to, to attain. Be faithful to what you have, by living it and you will attain further. So being faithful in ones self is necessary to live the things of God.

It's like Fat Mike once said, "It's not that I don't believe in Jesus Christ; it's just I care about other things. The world could surely use some miracles, but until then, I put my faith in Human Beings." It's probably better to realize that having faith in yourself is better than faith in God. You know you exist, you change your own life, and you don't have a little rule book called "El Bible". Right on, man... Right on.

You are not superior to God. Have faith in God and have confidence, courage, self-esteem in yourself. It is easy to say have faith in God, but faith is like a muscle, you have to build it up slowly so it can become big and strong. I recommend going to a bible-based church and learn about this God you should have faith in. Good luck!

Perhaps if you put your Faith in God you would have even more courage among other things, it's worth a try. I hope you are not too lonely being all by yourself.

Can you create a universe? Better yet, can you keep every single promise you've ever made? Can you forgive everyone who has wronged you? Can you resurrect yourself if you die?
If you can, then I'd say you could have faith in yourself rather than God.

Do you think you can take care of your sin problem? Do you think you can be justified before God on your own? Do you think God will accept your works, which Isaiah the prophet calls, "bloody rags", as and atonement for your sin and allow you into Heaven based on your works? If so, you are deceiving yourself and the truth is not in you.

Having faith in oneself seems silly to me. I know that I am not capable of doing life on my own. I have tried and failed. I prefer to have faith in the Almighty God who has proven Himself to me and enabled me to do all the things I do. He gave me everything, and He makes it work. I as a human am fallible, I think it is illogical to place my faith in a fallible being.

Yes it is! You need to have faith in yourself before you can have faith in anything else!

God is the one who gives you the special abilities and talents to achieve things. Without His gifts you can do nothing. You could not even take your next breath if God didn't give you the air to breath. So thank Him for your special gifts.

Sure, but who/what is the real you?
You have to find that out first.
