why does my dog put food on me while I am asleep?

I have a puggle tha keeps put dog food on my bed and when I wake up the next day ,I find dog food on my chest above my hed and every where around me. Does anybody know why she is doing that and how to stop her?

I'm guessing you free feed. Your dog can be doing this for a number of reasons. One she is seeking attention. Two she is trying to feed her other pack members. If you free feed than she may have established herself as pack leader and is taking care of you with food like she would her other pack members. Three, since she is female, she may be experiencing a false pregnancy. Some dogs have been known to experience the symptoms of pregnancies with out actually having been in heat and getting pregnant. So she may be treating you like she would her young.
Either way I know its odd. My dog did this to us until we stopped free feeding and she stopped.

I have never heard of that before,maybe shes trying to get your attention......personally,I would put the food dish up before I went to bed.
