I buy from my vet's store and have them delivery it right to my door, which is nice. My vet seperates based on weight of the dog/cat, there are four weight groups for dog and three for cats:

(Brown) One 6 Tab pack for a 2-10lb dog is $23.87USD or a 12 Tab Pack for a 2-10lb dog is $44.88USD.

(Green)One 6 Tab pack for a 11-25lb dog (1.5-6lb cat) is $25.87USD or a 12 Tab Pack for a 2-10lb dog is $46.65USD.

(White) One 6 Tab pack for a 51-100lbdog (12.1-25lb cat) is $45.05USD or a 12 Tab Pack for a 2-10lb dog is $83.74USD.

(Yellow)One 6 Tab pack for a 26.50lb dog (6.1-12lb cat) is $34.40USD or a 12 Tab Pack for a 2-10lb dog is $62.56USD.

Good Luck.

It depends on the dosage as it has to be given by weight.
I have 2 german shepherds on interceptor.I buy 2 pills for 50-100# and one for 1-10# since one dog weighs 80# and the other weighs 108# and it costs me $21.66 a month.
Also depends on the area you live in.

I use it for my 6 Newfies. It is more expensive than Heartguard or the generic heartguard that many vets carry. You can usually get a prescription from your vet so you can get it cheaper through PetMeds so some other place. It depends on the size your dog is, as to exactly how expensive it will be.

Depends on the size of your dog - I usually budget $8-$10 per month for my 20 lb cocker spaniel. Try www.1800petmeds.com

Where I work it depends on the size of the dog. The cost is based on a per pill and determined by size. The large size is $8/pill- which would be your monthly cost. Depending on where you lives depends on your heartworm season. I use it year round because it's easier for me to remember. For my GSD it would cost me $96/year and my chihuahuas $42/year.
