Drink small amounts of gatorade(sport drinks) at a time so that you can keep it down. Take Vitamin C 3 times during the course of a day and rest.

get off the computer, have a swollow of some soothing liquid (non-alclholic) and take a nap.

Rub your throat, chest and back with Eucalyptus oil, before going to bed.
Spray Saline in your nose twice a day, two sprays each nostril.

If you have cortisone in a spray format. spray some in your nose once a day (when you feel like your forehead will expode)

oh dear, I'm in the same situation, yesterday i felt like it was gonna kill me. I hope you get better soon.
eat a lot, sleep a lot and drink plenty of juice and water.
