It seems that the freon as leaked from the compressor which isn't allowing the freezer to reach the temperature required to freeze food. Alternatively, it could be an instance where the thermometer has malfunction thus creating the same situation.

You will need to call in an appliance repair person to fix it, or if it is too costly to repair, replace it.

We just went through this VERY problem!! We went and priced new fridges to only get sticker shock. We called a guy out and it turned out to be the fan motor, which was $40 for the part. He replaced it and it works fine now!
I would also make sure that all the coils in the back and underneath as well.

Turn it off to defrost it completely. Turn it back on high and give it 48 hours to reach freezing temps. If that doesn't work call a repairman or replace it.
