Did YOU break up with HIM or was it the other way around? If you broke up with him then your friend must have thought that you don't like him anymore. Still, there is that thing called "time." Don't talk to your friend for a while. A little time to cool down and then try again. Hope this helps.

firstly...you need to overcome your feeling about him. once you get over him then you move on with your life.
you can not questioning your friend whether she is eing a good friend or not. once you broke up with him then he is practically free to date anybody including your friend. i know it's hard to see you ex dating your friend but then again if you still thinking about him, no matter who he is dating with, it will still hurt your feeling. what make it worse is because he si now dating your friend.
your friend should consider it before she date him but she has every right to go with him since he is a free man. what if your friend ask you why she can not date him when you know that your friend really like him. don't you want your friend to be happy as well...? it only hurts you because you still have feeling for him. the best way is to give time for yourself to get over him and in the meantime you also give space between you and them.
when you ready then you should be able to see them again without having any hurt feeling.

I'd have to admit that I'd be the same way to keep the friendship and the relationship going. I wouldn't want to find out your intentions.. to find out you still had feelings for him, or that you had something bad to say about him.. I just wouldn't wanna know. It may be the reason she's avoiding the topic. Explain to her why you want to talk about it. Tell her you just wanna talk and nothing more.. Give that a try and see if it works!!

obviously if your asking you know they are not a good friend the people i would call my good friends i would never even have to ask if they were a good friend. she wants to change the subject because she knows she is wrong. If you really feel betrayed tell her good luck and have a nice life and when she comes back to you for advice tell her to kick rocks

Neither one of these people really want to be honest with you. Sometimes its easier to avoid someone than to have a confrontation. I think you should step away from the two of them and cultivate some other friends and then see if either of them return to their friendships with you.

Sounds like she knows what she did is wrong and has a bit of a guilty conscience. If you can't handle her dating your ex you may have to lose her as a friend.
FYI - a TRUE friend wouldn't date your leftovers.

Well, she is feeling the same thing...she is thinking that you broke up with him, and therefore she has the right to "go after" him.
