Hi! I'm getting ready to go on a blind double date tomorrow with a guy whom I was set up with by a mutual friend. That friend and her boyfriend are coming too, and have been dating for about a year and a half. Anyways, our date is to the movies, and I was wondering if anyone out there would be able to tell me what exactly you talk about on a date to the movies? I don't obviously just want to sit there and watch the movie, I want to get to know the guy. I was thinking about how if events in the movie related to personal experiences I've had, I could talk about that and it could spur a conversation... any other ideas? I don't want to be all out-of-the-blue and just like, "Hey, what's your favorite food?", ya know?

Um, you don't talk to a date during the movie, especially if he's not seen it before. You'll just annoy him and piss off the people around you. Save it for before and after the movie.

movies as a first date is a no no. you sit in silence and cant really communicate. maybe you wanna talk, but what if is hes into the movie or is annoyed that youre talking to him while hes watching it. also, others around you may find this incredibly rude. id say have a "pre date date" and eat something beforehand so you can chat a little- or even catch a little earlier movie and eat after. good luck

Movies are bad first dates because you can't really talk and then there is the uncomfortable feeling of sitting next to someone you don't know. I hope you aren't seeing a chick flick, that makes it even more uncomfortable. Maybe you should all go for coffee afterwards than you can get to know him. Have fun

Whatever you do, do NOT talk during the movies. Some guys get sooo mad over that, that they won't go out for a second date. Before the movie just talk about normal things. What he likes to do for fun, ask about school, family. Just general questions and when the movie is over keep asking questions. just be yourself and have fun.

Well, certainly asking about other movies he's seen, what he likes to do on the weekends, if he's into sports, etc. Those all work. He'll be looking to make small talk too, so be prepared for some awkward moments as you get started. But he wants to get ot know you as much as you want to get to know him!

here's an idea: look up on the internet for some hot news on the movie you're planning to watch and the reviews it got. gossip on the actors and actresses, something fun that could lead to a nice and interesting discussion. good luck and have fun :-)

Do each and all of the speaking in the previous and after the action picture. throughout the time of the action picture, only look at her while the action picture is slow and ask her something relating to the action picture so some distance. despite you do, don't experience undesirable, that only kills your self belief. experience good approximately your self.

hmm..good question ...but i think that if you wanted to get to no the guy better you shouldnt of picked to go to the movies ..maybe like somewhere ..like out to supper..or something..cause i dont think he will appreceate if you talk during the movie..you should just stay quiet and like be flirty with him like...rest your head on his shoulder..things like that..tell him thanks for comming after the movie is over..and say like im really glad you came..it was alot of fun..things like that..but dont talk DURING the movie..or he mite be thinking i wish she would shut up so i can hear the movie
