not technically. My dog is a blue heeler Aussie mix. When his coat is shaved short, the gray and brown tones make for a sort of "bluish" shade, but they don't look like Blue's Clues if that's what you're asking.

The fur is not blue, just as a blue merle collie or sheltie is not blue. The fur is gray and varies in color. The heeler will also have black spotting over the gray. From a distance, the gray tone with the black spots can (but does not necessarily) appear to be a gray/blue color.

It is actually an Australian Cattle Dog, not a blue heeler (that refers to the color & what the dog does (heels livestock), kind of a slang term for the breed). But, they have a white coat with black 'ticking' spots, giving them what dog people call a 'bluish' cast, and others (slang name 'red heeler') are red ticking on white. The blue cast comes from the mingling of white, grey and black hairs that create the bluish look. Aussies, Collies and Cardigan Welsh Corgis have the same effect.
Ticking is different then merling. Ticking comes from flecks of color, like freckles that show up in the white areas of the coat. German Shorthairs have ticking, corgis and Cattle dogs can have it on their feet or face.

Well I know a blue faun is. The coat is a dark color. Like a blue-back color. Hanks also look blue. They have blue eyes and there coat is like a gray color mixed with light sky blue color. Like if you had the color gray and lightly colored on the paper and then took a light blue and lightly go over the gray. That's the color.

Blue Heelers do not have blue fur. It is known to be called that because its fur is so gray that it appears blue.

No.
A blue heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) has a bluish appearance, but is not blue in color. It's coat is most likely Merle in color.
