I've scraped my mouth on a Toblerone triangle, bitten my cheek trying to navigate a pickled onion Monster Munch foot and yanked out half a filling whilst eating nougat.

Eating crappy food is a hazzardous business. It's not shaped right or it's unnaturally thick and chewy. But I bravely solider on........

Last night I bit into my right cheek, not just once but THREE TIMES in one evening. Blood, salty taste and the works,

the reason I didnt got to a&e? because this incident occurs frequently, once every other month atleast. Last time they "thretened" me with stitches. Also I have been there for the same problem twice in the last year. I dont want any stitches, them things look scary, I also cant be bothered to wait 5-10 hours (if I am lucky) though if it carrys on hurting I will have to as I cannot eat anything.

In the past I have blistered my throat from a cup of starbucks- I had left for college at 8am and forgotten my purse. I didnt realise till it was too late and my mates had gone home, and the banks were shut it was 8pm by then, I scraped a tbag left in my college studio and pledsed starbucks for a cup of hot water, put in sugar, bit of milk and downed it very quickly.
Next thing I knew, by the time I woke at 7am the next day I found it hard to swallow and felt a lump in my throat, the doctor said there was no such thing as a blistered throat as your mouth wouldnt let you swallow if stuff felt too hot.
He changed his mind, he had never seen anything like it and had been a g.p. for 75 years (he has since retired).
I was sent away with a prescription for a tube of a specially formulated paste.

I have also -from my experience of working in a greengrocers, had cabbages fall on me and land me with woonded feet, been yelled at (emotional damage here-) for not automatically knowing avocados are not kept in the fridge- I since left the job as I dont think I am stupid for not knowing this seeing as I cannot stand avocados and have never myself housed one.

I have bitten into a cake bar and broken a tooth as there was a baked cherry stone in it, no I didnt sue as I was only 16 at the time and didnt know this was possible.

I have anb eating disorder, it it any wonder why?!!

I have burned the roof of me mouth several times, poked meself with a fork a couple of times, which was very stupid. When I had braces, my gums and teeth would bleed when eating something that was very chewy.

One lunch break, I went to the dentist. I was starving, so broke all the rules and ate a sandwich while my mouth was numb. I ate my cheek and lip, too. I bit right through - it was a right mess and I was really sorry when the sensation in my mouth returned.

I love crisps, but having teeth removed at the side always leaves me with very sore gums, especially if i'm eating salt and vinegar. I also like my food to be very hot when i eat it, this burns my mouth. But crisps are the worst for me.

I've burned my mouth, gums, been hit by boiling water, blisters on the palms of my hands by picking up hot utensils, and I have scars on my arms from a deep fryer.

Also, don't drop a #10 can on your toe. It'll turn black and you lose a toenail.

(I'm glad I'm not a professional cook anymore!)

I once had a bottle of (v expensive) wine in a carrier bag, which split, and stuck out my foot in an unsuccessful attempt to cushion the fall of the bottle. Sore toe resulted....does that count?

The dreaded roof of your mouth burn when eating hot pizza!

Onions make me cry.

Cutting hot peppers then stupidly rubbing my eyes... nuf said.

Biting then re-biting the inside of your cheek chewing gum.
