What's sick? Those links don't point to anything visually disgusting.

One is to some Arab guy in a Mosque as he makes his speech, and the other is to Arab Muslims men and women debating in a sort of talk show format.

Does anyone know the answer to my question though? I know I probably shouldn't care considering what the topic of the videos is however, curiosity is getting the best of me.

and that website should have http://news.faithfreedom.org so people only have to click to view instead of copy paste.

That is an excellent website by the way.

Oh so in the Koran it does say that a man can beat his wife if she is disobedient? And when he beats her it must be a light beating. Basically a beating that does not leave any marks?

Would it be safe to say that any Muslim who leaves marks when he beats his disobedient wife is more likely an extremist? I am sure their are some moderates who have accidentally left marks when beating their disobedient wives, however if they did not intend on leaving bruises then let's just say they made a mistake.

Those two men speaking are what I would call extremists, and are in the category of men on a power-high who twist verses of the Qur'an to control women and exploit social customs in the Arab world to perpetuate violence and discrimination against women.

They would call themselves sunni. I call them self-righteous, arrogant and intolerable.

As for the other people in the second video, nothing they did or said specifically identified them as any sect, so there is really no way to know.

Oh that. I didn't check those out but most likely the beating video is the Taliban who treat their women like dogs. Yes the Qur'an says a husband can beat his wife but only as a last resort and it is for a disobedient wife. The first step is to talk to the wife about her bad deeds and if that doesn't work than the next step is to ban the wife from entering the husband's bed. Meaning she is to sleep in another bed in another room. Third is beating but that can only be a light tap on the feet and can not leave any marks on the woman and has to be where the body is covered.

Thanks for posting those videos. I think that all Muslims believe in wife beating. After all, the Koran says that the man should do it. They are no true Muslims unless they follow all of the Koran. If you want more info on how terrible Islam is, go to this website:

Without seeing the Videos I can tell you!

The kind that HATE all Jewish people!

The Unhold Quaran teaches then to do just that !

"Believers (Muslims), take neither Jews nor Christians to be your
friends: they are friends with one another.
Whoever of you seeks their friendship shall become one of their number,
and Allah does not guide (those Jewish and Christian) wrong-doers." - Sura 5:51
