If the mileage is correct, you have got a bargain. To check if the mileage has been messed with, look at the mileage reading and see if all the numbers are lined up correctly. if one number is slightly out of line, it means the mileage has been "clocked".

a car of this age can only be valued on condition and what sort of life its had, has it got a new m.o.t. is it in good general condition, was it some ones pride and joy, or did you by it from a dodgy dealer. The most important thing is , are you happy with it.

Hi,
Just checked that out for you in my dealers guide.
I would give £595 for it, on that mileage, assuming it has no mechaniical probs.
Probablly sell it on for about £759, if the bodywork looks OK.
Such are cars!
Oh, I just saw that it is 16 years old. !
Forget it - do a bit of fun demolition derby with it !

Yes but cars with higher mileage are more likely to break down.

IF that`s the genuine millage and the car runs good .........then i would say yes.....did you get a full M.O.T and tax
