Only if eggs grow in the ground or from plants, how old are you. eggs contain the chromosomes and are fertilized which grows into whatever it grows into such as a chicken or snake, unless carrots lay eggs!

An eggplant is a vegetable. An egg coming from an animal is not a vegetable.

haha.

no they are not vegetables

an egg is a body produced by a domestic bird, esp. the hen.

a vegetable is any plant whose fruit, seeds, roots, tubers, bulbs, stems, leaves, or flower parts are used as food, as the tomato, bean, beet, potato, onion, asparagus, spinach, or cauliflower.
or the edible part of such a plant, as the tuber of the potato

however there is such a thing as an eggplant which IS a plant, of the nightshade family, cultivated for its edible, dark-purple or occasionally white or yellow fruit. So you may be getting the two muddled?
