You'll be close to the stars because that's what you're gonna see. It will hurt so much that you won't wanna wear any bikini; you'll be walking bowl-legged for while... You won't agonize but it is like using hot chili sauce after shaving your pubic hair... Maybe I am exaggerating, but it is a hell of a burning sensation more than hurt.

Are we talking a bikini, or Brazilian? If you go for a Brazilian and it hurts too much, you can always stop at just a bikini wax. I won't lie, the experience is not pleasant, but I didn't expect it to be! It was painful during the waxing, and sore the whole day of, but I took some Advil beforehand. I don't tolerate pain very well but I have had it done several times, for me it is worth temporary discomfort. Bottom line: not pleasant, but not unbearable either.

Well, yes it can. My girlfriend didn't quite scream her first through fifth time she had it done(I know, she had me there so she could squeeze the crap out of my hand!). However, if the salon doing the waxing is good, then they'll have you wash(to remove natural skin oils as well as have you use an exfoliant to remove dead skin cells that can interfere with the wax) in fairly warm water. They put the wax on in one direction using one time use disposable wooden stick that look like tongue-depressors. Then they put a piece of cotton cloth over the wax and pull really fast in the opposite direction of the hair growth. Oh yes, you might want to breathe deeply and exhale fully before they pull the cloth away. It's worth it all though. Not having to shave for about a month is great!!

it will hurt but its like getting a shot if you think of something nice it wont hurt as much and do it all fast just to get it over with if u get pain then just stop for a minute and press the area for a few seconds and the pain will go away. the redness/swelling should go away in about 30-1 hour if not then get an obgyn's help.

It all depends on how coarse/thick and curly your hair is... the thinner it is the less it hurts.. but it still hurts.... but once its done it well worth it!
