Okay, there are several cities by this name, so let's just list them all and hope for the best...
USA valparaiso IN: Chicago Midway (40 miles away)
FL: Eglin AFB (3 Miles away)
NE: Lincoln Municipal 16.31 miles away)
Vapariso Chile (A sea port with the nearest airport being Arturo Merino Benitez International 55 miles away)
Brazil (Congonhas is the closest to the Valparaiso providence of Sao Paulo, which is too small for most maps to register)
Finally, Columbia: there is a small municipality in Antioquia Department Enrique Olaya Herrera is the closest about 23.5 miles away, Jose Marie Cordova is 24 miles away, so either work well)

If there is a place called "Valparaiso" in the United Kingdom (in which section this question is being asked) then it must have fallen into the Atlantic Ocean somewhere near Atlantis due to global warming most likely. Either that or my UK road atlas is lying, and Valparaiso lies just up the road from London Heathrow just off the M25.
A google search brings up two places by this name - one in Indiana, America and one near Santiago, Chile. The nearest airport to the American one would be Chicago O'Hare, but who's to say there is not a THIRD Valparaiso somewhere else that I don't know about???

Probably one in Chicago - try Midway or O'Hare. This is, of course, provided you are referring to the city in Indiana.
