Ridiculous to be scared of the inevitable ! Live your life, don't take stupid chances but death is a part of life,a countdown from the time you're born !!

I grew up with a Fear of Dying. I searched for answers by going to different churches, reading the bible, and talking to others. Nothing helped. Once I believed in God and knew that he exists it got only slightly better.
Why? I still did not understand where you go when you die, and if it was somewhere far away. Nothing was clear.

I dont want to minimize your fears but you are young and I am old. I am middle 50's and death is closer. Although anyone can die from a bad decision. So what did I do? I decided to study spirituality and it worked. I no longer fear death.

Let me tell you why:

Death is of the body only, the soul moves to the Other Side (heaven)
We meet all our loved one including our pets. It is joyous.
I have realized That place is more HOME than this plane of Earth
We charted our course for this life before we arrived, including our death. We have several spots (or exit points) set into our chart so we can bale out after our growth is complete.
I believe we can come back to Earth to learn more, our decision
God wants our souls to grow and learn and be more enlightened
Death is just a passage back to Heaven
There is no pain in dying, many have come back to tell us.

You need to read and here are some books:

The Other Side and Back by Sylvia Browne
The Eagle and the Rose by Rosemary Althea
Proud Spirit by Rosemary Althea
Any book by Sylvia Browne
Your Destiny with the Monk who Sold his Ferrari by Robin Sharma
The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Alborn

You will learn some amazing stuff. I read tons of books on the subject and am taking a class on Self Discovery. It has worked wonders for me. Also find a true psychic/medium and they can change your life. (make sure you check them out well). I see one time to time and have connected to soul of my family who died. They tell me they are in heaven and it is wonderful and they will see me when I come back. Dont believe it?
Well tell me how come the information they told me know one ever could know, no one? She even told me the last sentence my brother told me and only me in the hospital before he died. Word by word. It made a believer out of me. Why did she tell me those words? It was my brothers way of tell me it was truly him.

We have nothing to FEAR. Educate your soul.

It is normal to be afraid of dying. It is not normal to obsess about it though. Most people don't think about dying often. If you find you are thinking about it a lot then you should seek counseling - either a doctor or clergy depending on what you're most comfortable with.

I am scared to die too but as my mother said to me, dont think about dieing, just think about the wonderful life i will live so that made me feel much better and im okay with the end result and i know that is death but you have to realize that death is apart of life and its always normal to fear that but not fear it everyday of your life because that might be harmful to your health.

People fear death because they view death as an "end" to something. It's not the "end" of you. It's the end of one thing, but it is also the beginning of another.
