Both are great depending on how they are to be used. But I prefer fresh.

I always choose fresh fruit over fruit in the tin. Tinned fruit has a lot of sugar, even the lite syrup. I would rather have the natural sugars from the fresh fruit.

Definately fresh fruit because fresh fruit is way more healthy than canned fruit because canned fruit is packed with more calories than fresh fruit and is packed with syrup which isnt too healthy if you really look at it. So take the fresh fruit over the canned fruit any day.

Versus fresh fruit? You should choose fresh every time.
Versus "heavy syrup" canned fruit? Choose the lite syrup.

I almost always pick the juice packed or lite syrup. Less calories and better flavor to the fruit. I hope I've been some help to you.

apples and bananas turn in like 5-10 minutes after cutting, which sucks. I would cut them up and squeeze fresh lemon juice on it and mix it well so its coated in citric acid. You could try and orange too (although lemon makes things seem fresher and it works a tad better) if you want something sweeter another option is to put 1/2 tsp of salt in a large bowl of water, mix it, dump the fruits in and immediately drain. if you do it fast, it won;t get salty, but you're also getting water into your fruit. of course, you'll need to wrap it tightly or put it in a tightly sealed food storage container.

well, canned fruit is usually boiled slightly before they can it, which makes it lose a lot of its nutrients. fresh fruit will always be fresh [unless it gets old] and keeps all of its nutrients. so if the question is which one is more nutritious, go with fresh, you can get more out of it

I eat fresh fruit! It tastes so much better, and it's much healthier! And no, there is not a lot of difference.
