We can't annex Mexico into the union, most Mexicans don't want to be Americans, true, they just want the benefits that Americans have, a military take over in the near future due to the civil war in Mexico, or possible civil war in America over immigration, one way or another Mexico-US-Canada will become one nation by 2020.
Someone did those jobs before they came, most of those jobs existed before the 1970s' when this problem began, those jobs were done mainly by poor blacks and whites, state-welfare era politics ensured that the poor no longer had to work, many illegal’s came to do the jobs that Americans did do, now those jobs have been networked away from teenagers and the poor, who would do those jobs today if they could.
According to recent trends the real number is approx. 18.5 million. I don’t approve of amnesty for all of them, amnesty for those who have been here longer then 20 years (1986) should be given citizenship, but there should be a cap at 5 million people only.

Those who are married to illegal aliens should get priority, their families in Mexico and here in the US don’t get citizenship. No one should be allowed to bring any family from Mexico, or China, or anywhere else in the world to participate. My in-laws are Hispanic and some of them are here illegally, but we can’t assimilate 20-30 million people plus 20-30 million they bring over, they will assimilate us. If this happens I can guarantee a civil war within 10 years, Americans won’t stand by and watch their nation turn into a predominately Mexican nation, with Mexican politics and Mexican corruption, hell no! The only solution is the military invasion of Mexico, break them down through force and rebuild and annex later, a people will assimilate once their nation has been conquered.

I agree, people who do come to this nation do live better lives then if they stayed in their own hell hole nations, but breaking the law to enter the nation is wrong. this is a nation of laws no matter what you would like to believe, a nation without laws (like Mexico) is not a nation, it is chaos, it is drug wars, it is poverty, it is not a place I would like to live, and neither should anyone else, with that said, Mexico is ripe for a military invasion, maybe not now but in the near future.

It's true that the problem with illegal immigration from Mexico is cause by the national standard of living, and the US invading Mexico is a possibility. However doing so without provocation is pretty much suicide political-wise. So until the Mexican civil war give enough reason for the US to assume a police role, all we can do is build that fence and patrol that border.

NOOOOO!!! Well, maybe...
But first - and don't write this off before you see how effective other divider walls of this design can be - before any war, build some sort of forty-foot, parallel tilt-wall enclosure over at least half the border. If two concrete walls are 30 feet apart and 40 feet tall with regular patrols and really 'special' dogs between them, sure they'd still try, but if fewer than one in 500 ever get through, that's good enough.
Why should we do this before any invasion? You already said it up there. We don't want the two nations fighting over which nation the other will become.
Don't get me wrong, I've lived solely among Latinos in Texas for nearly 10 years. And though I get frequent (about 20 to 60 Hz) urges to pimp-smack two-thirds of them like a righteous air-hammerin' gringo, I do love a lot of them. The sappy sincerety Hollywood does them up in is, believe it or not, often right on the money. Some of these kids are like my own. But from therein arises the devil-craft.
I don't think I can stand seeing one more solitary, bright, polite kind little boy - whose father and mother work 20 hours a day to give him the American dream - hit 13, join a gang, burn out a car, get caught in an apartment with peyote, weed, tequila, beer, prostitutes, drop out in the middle of the 8th grade, name it. Think I'm kidding? I own these apartments. And I always live on property as a matter of principle.
I had to tell those parents what their son did. I had to pretend to be strong while, as I finished my sentence, their faces aged a full chapter.
Mexico's morally determined would have to lead by example for years to straighten out the criminal mentality that so many down there accept as unavoidable.
Either that or we China and India could each send 5 per cent of their population (total = 120 million) and rule for 10 years with an iron fist.

Knowing that Australia is one of those British Empire nations that does not trust it subjects, I would not worry about the citizens having guns and fighting tooth and nail. So all an invader would have to worry about is the armed forces, such as they are. First an invader would have to take out the Australian Navy, a whole 60 ships with no aircraft carriers. The only ships that I would worry about are the six diesel-electric subs. Everything else is a surface ship and would be relatively easy to take out with Harpoons or Exocets. Second, the Air Force. They have 20 or so Vietnam era F111s that could be used for long range recon and as a medium bomber. They are due to retire in 2010 so if I was worried about them I would wait two years. They have about 110 F18 fighters. Those are not air superiority fighters like the F15 or F14 so if I got a plane specifically designed for air superiority, I would not worry about them either. Third, having taken out the Navy and the Air Force, I would have air superiority. All that would be left to deal with is the Army. 45,000 total, including Reservists. Hardly a force to worry about. When you consider how big Australia is and how poor the roads are, it would be unlikely they could mass forces if one area was invaded. If several invasion points were used, they could maybe meet an invasion with 10,000 at most. Lacking air cover, they could easily be taken out with a neutron bomb or chemical attack. The ONLY thing Australia has going for them is distance from their enemies, large size of their nation and the ability to burn their northern cities and to flee to the other side of the desert. That was their plan in WW II until MacArthur told them it was a bad plan. Now that you have an idea of how easy it would be, why do it? Just exactly does Australia have that would make someone spend the time and effort to invade? They have no major oil fields, they are not a "bread basket" of food and in fact they are having drought problems, they are not an industrial power house, etc. It would cost more to invade than what benefit you could get doing it. In fact, it is not worth the trouble as you would probably have the entire British Empire coming after you if you tried it. While the Armed forces of Australia are not much, you add in all that of the Commonwealth and you might have a problem. Specially since Britain is a nuclear power.

Great question. Our government can't wipe it's nose properly at the moment. Or they don't care to.
Not many would want to join Mexico. I personally don't have a problem with it as long as I don't have to pay and don't lose. I'm at the end of my reign more or less. Don't need that kind of crazyness.
Latins of all species are certainly nice enough people. It's more of a dollar thing. It's wrong the way it's happening now.
A good start would be to let the folks that wanna work, come on up and work. NO citizenship ...and NO families.
That would cover the problem.
Course they could come here legit but that takes time. IN the meanwhile, we let em' work. But work alone.
No anchor babies, nada. They need to come in legal, over time and do the civics thing and all like that.
All would more or less be covered here. We also need to raise AMerican wages. The Latins can get that when they become legal ...until then it's the down and dirty.
WE shouldn't have to raise their kids on Spanish in schools either. BAd enough living with it at every turn on the street. I don't have a problem with that as long as there are no other down turns for us economically. I speak Spanish enough but it galls me to see so many, in essence, criminal immigrants breaking the law all around me, knowing we have a two standards/ system. One that is great for them and one that is sucky for the rest of native born or legal immigrant citizens.
Mexico particularly is a wealthy country. We need some of that wealth if they send their folks up thisa way. It's gonna be an interesting time here in North AMerican in the near future.
Either we will work it out ...or we will be carving each other apart.

Mexico does not need to be part of the USA. The reason is simple, Mexico like many other poor countries is exploded by the USA by sponsoring corrupted governments and by making alliances between US corporations and the rich of Mexico. The US already enjoys having access to all natural resources at very low prices and then using the Mexican workers in the USA to export finish good to Mexico at much higher prices. You need to get a lot smarter and read a lot more about history and ecomony before you can really become free!

I haven't read this whole diatribe and don't intend to, but I will say that you haven't the slightest idea of what Mexico is. If you want to criticize something, understand it well before you do. I've lived and worked in that country and consider myself the better for it. And I never encountered people with minds as bricked in as yours appears to be.
