Not on its own, but drinking water certainly contributes to a healthy diet.

Water in itself is good for metabolism. Mineral water is supposed to have minerals in it like sodium, pottassium, manganese etc. These mierals are good and are an integral part of human metabolism.
1. These help in nervous system mechanism.
2. Blood circulation mechanism improves and helps in blood clotting.
3. Helps maintain the skin elasticty and flexibility.
These are some essential things and minerals help improve the body metabolism in other ways.
