Back then, I would say to many to count. Looking back, broken truly, just two.

It's a hard question to answer. When you are with someone, think you are in love and it ends your world collapses. But when you look back it's not that big of a deal. I was in love once, or at least thought I was, and I got my heart broken, but when I think about it I just laugh because it's wasn't that bad or that important. I hope I'm not coming on as shallow and cold, I have a lot of love to give and am very affection it, but that is how I feel about getting your heart broken.

Yes I have. Happened a couple of months ago actually. Thought I had found the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. Turns out even a nice guy can break your heart.

Some people that have never had the horrible experiance of actually physically feeling a heartache would say many times. I have had the ache twice in my life, caused by the same person.

Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn’t it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life . . . You give them a piece of you. They didn’t ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn’t your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like ‘maybe we should be just friends’ turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It’s a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips you apart pain. I hate love.
