I've met a wonderful man after such a bad relationship. He told me he likes me but the problem is that he is seeing another woman and I dont know if its serious because if it is I dont want to cause friction. But, The day he told me he liked me I was so taken back that I didnt respond and all I manage to say was that we should be friends, but I lied I do like him too. What should I do????

Well, I think you havent lied to him. You gave him the right answer.
You have had a bad relationship in the past, so you wouldnt tell YES to every approach unless you know the person and this is possible through a friendly relation, specially because he is seeing another person.
How do you know that he hasnt said the same thing to the other woman?
In any case i suggest that you try to communicate with him more than befor and let thing go a bid slowly and dont rush.
if he really likes you, then he would stop seeing the other woman and come to you.
Dont worry, most of the men recieve the same answer from women in the first place.

I would stay away at this point. First off, you are just out of a bad relationship and you need time for you, get your head on straight again. Second, why would you want a man that already has a woman, serious or not. If he is doing to her he will do it to you. Find a "wonderful" guy that isn't already involved.

If he's married or in a serious relationship, let him go. You don't need that kind of heart ache. If not, all's fair in love and war. See if you can find out what kind of relationship he is in. Maybe he is just looking for an excuse to dump the other girl friend.

Find out what his intentions are...but don't get yourself into another bad relationship that involves more than the two of you. Break the cycle of bad relationships and believe you are worth having a great gut who will pay attention to you and only you.

Be honest with him - let him know how you really feel and tell him that you were 'taken aback' when he told you that he liked you. Also tell him that you want him to know that you really feel that he is a wonderful man, but that your recent bad relationship has made you cautious. Since he has said that he likes you, it could be a win-win situation for you both !

Is he married....if he is you don't want to go there....otherwise give him a call and let him know you have been thinking about him...let him know you are a one woman person and you will give him a chance if he breaks up....if he is not willing..then he isn't as serious about you as you think....don't let him get the satisfaction of you being the other woman....Good LUCK babe!

if he says for a long time
you made a big mistake asking to be his friend then

in my opinion, if you like him then show him that you are interested. but i would let him know if something changes in the relationship he is in then maybe you should hook up and see how it goes. but not until then
