I have the dreaded love handles but oh no not just that they're not just on the sides but they extend to the back and create the overlapping that hangs over the top of my jeans. Basically it's just gross. Should I just do cardio or is there a specific workout or machine i can use to lose the fat around that area.

Lots and lots of cardio will work wonders for this!! It burns fat all over your body, it is basically necessary to lose weight! So cardio combined with weights will help a lot. Hold a weight in your left hand and lean to the left to do sort of a side bend. that will help also...switch to the right side after 10 or 12 and then repeat as many times as you want.

Actually cardio is great but for best results, lift weights. Weight lifting will burn those love handles away quite quickly.

The only way to burn fat is through cardio and diet. And you cannot spot reduce fat. In other words, you cannot get rid of love handles, or reduce your gut, etc. Cardio will burn fat all over the body.

Cardio is your best bet for trimming your love handles.
