i agree. they have no rights if they are illegal. we Americans need to make changes to are Constitution. if the old govt does not work, then we can make a new one that will work for the citizens of America. read up on it. it's in there.

I don't think we should "be allowed" by our government (as you suggest).....everyone of the "elected class" took an oath to protect the constitution... our military should be in our country protecting our borders by any means necessary! However, our government seems to have forgotten the "promote domestic tranquility" part of their oaths....
I never thought I would live to see the day average Americans would have the need to even consider "bearing arms" against
foreigners on our soil trying to overtake our country - I always thought our government would be sure our military did that! Seems I have been looking thru rose-colored glasses!
exgijoe - you seem to be forgetting these people are NOT Americans... remember the first line...We the people of the United States of America -- not the United States of America and mexico.....
PatB - I have plenty of information, so don't give me that bleeding heart crap...the first thing stupid you said is what would you do if you had mouths to feed? The first thing I would do is keep my pants zipped if I knew I couldn't feed my children! The second thing is think about Iraq & Afghanistan...why is our military over there trying to stop the fighting between two factions that have been fighting for 14 centuries...why isn't our military protecting our borders against these terrorist that want to change our country & way of life...hummmmm could it be oil?

They're illegal and violating the law. Only problem is there's like 11 million of them. It's not fair that some people had to do it the right way. It took 7 years for my family and I to get permanent residence... took a lot of patience. Well I can understand some people are looking for opportunity.... Maybe anyone desperate would have done the same thing. I don't think there should be a civil war...... I just think U.S. should secure their borders more.

They should have the right to safe, speedy deportation. If they are that valuable to the US, they will have no problem clearing the proper procedure for legal immigration. Unfortunately, and what a lot of these bleeding hearts don't want to acknowledge, is that huge numbers of illegals are basically career criminals, who have no interest in working for a living, prey on citizens and legal immigrants in their own communities, and bleed government resources. OK, I'll concede the right to 'life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.' But not on my side of the border.

to me, any individual, British or in any different case, who breaks the regulation would desire to now no longer have comparable rights. unlawful immigrants are costing this united states billions and its the conventional working people who're paying the value. unlawful immigrants would desire to be sent lower back wherein they have been given right here from that's what would desire to take place in another united states on the earth besides Britain, because of the fact of this a great number of them make a beeline for the united kingdom bypassing many distinctive ecu international places on the type.

Yes. Rights.
The real question: Should our government have a TIME LIMIT in getting them out?
Definitely!
Their rights should be scaled back by constitutional amendment if necessary. I see no support of birthright citizenship for children born to illegal aliens in the 14th. Until we rectify that problem, states should (if they have the power) set up international zones in hospitals so that babies born in that zone would only be US citizens if at least one parent is a citizen.
The new amendment should be retro-active to, say, any child born on or after January 1st,1995 must prove that, at the time of birth, at least one parent was a U.S. citizen and that parent either claimed the child or, if the suspected father was a legal citizen, then at the mother's request, a DNA test must be performed to determine blah blah blah...
That'd clear a path for the legal immigrants.

I am a news junkie so I don't know how I missed all the stories on illegal immigrants that have put a gun to any agency and robbed them of any services. So unless I have missed something that means they have only taken what was given to them. If you would like to declare a war with someone why not the government that is doing the giving and not the people that you THINK are illegal they are only taking what is given to them as you would if someone gave you something.

Why should non US citizens have any rights??????
Yes they have human rights, but that is not the issue. Illegals do not care about American citizens or American laws! For example, Why should Americans have to pay for illegal's medial benefits?? They earn their own money, they can pay for it!!
They need to learn to speak English, adapt to the American way of life, and become US Citizens or leave!!

Amen to that brother! Where are all the true Americans at? You know the ones like you & me? We all must get together to defend our Freedom. We need to organize before it's to late.
I don't think that they should have any rights at all! It is amazing that our government would protect such evil! And just so you know, the government doesn't pay for them. They stick you & me with the bill!

the truth of the matter is that illegal immigrants work in jobs that you would never consider working in for very cheap. Government knows this, they will lose money due to the decline of labor in agriculture, construction, maintance, and all hard physical jobs. So while you complain about rights of people, they're alot of factors of why you have the kind of life you do.
