That's because the WORLD has made it okay to slam Christians. EVERYONE has rights ----- at the expense of taking away the rights of the Christian.
We shouldn't be surprised.
It's the way it's supposed to happen..........says so in the book.

Or maybe it's because I haven't seen any posts from Muslims denouncing atheism and saying that those who don't believe in Allah are going to hell. And why is there always talk of fear in christianity? Why would I want to subscribe to something I'm supposed to be afraid of?
In addition, Wicca is not about a god or supreme being, but about nature and people's spiritual relationship with the physical and metaphysical world. Paganism is about our relationship with nature. Buddhism is based on the teachings of Buddha--a man, not a deity. Do some homework before you spout off.

Atheists don't fear Christianity. It's what we know most about in the English speaking world. Perhaps you'll find Islam bashing on the Arabic Yahoo! Answers (if it exists.) Plus, the others are correct: atheists also bash Christianity because they proselytize (in the US) the most often. Also, bashing Christianity pretty much affects Islam too--some of the fundamental tenets of both similar to each other and are thus both objectionable.

I think it's because Christians feel that it is their duty to convert the world forgetting what the Bible says that the Holy Spirit covicts the world of sin. Some feel it is their duty to "stand up for Jesus". This can annoy non-Christians to no end. We're supposed to "speak the truth in love".
p.s. Christians might tell you you're going to hell, but few if any would hold a gun to you and send you there. Unlike some Muslims. Isn't it great this topic is open for debate in this country?

No, we've got you figured out, christians. You know the saying, there's power in numbers? If people turn atheists, you're losing power.
Look, we don't touch wicca and islam because they are much more accepting of other's beliefs. Christianity on the other hand, is like the plague. It only leave havoc in it's wake.
Put it this way, we don't have "In Allah we trust" written on our money. We don't have "One nation under Allah" in our pledge. Allah didn't tell Bush to send troops over to Iraq. Christianity is shoving itself down everyone's throats. That's why we hate Christianity more than any other religion.

Possibly because they feel that Christianity is the majority where they live. Or maybe because Christians spend more time trying to spread their religion than the other faiths do (with the exception of Islam). Or maybe it's because when you bash a Christian verbally, the worst thing you get (if anything) is another verbal bashing or a not-so-well supported answer in respone, or someone telling you that Jesus loves you, and when you bash a muslim- or when you bash a muslim extremist I should say(cause not all muslims are like that) , you could get blown up or something.

That's because Islam and Wicca have adherents who aren't acting like @ssholes. The Christians who jump down everyone's throats with both feet saying we're going to "hell" are irritating as hell, and it makes people want to bother them.

On the contrary, I've posted here a number of times regarding the superstitious and mythical nature of Islam (and all other religions) just like christianity.
You see more discussion about christianity because there are more christians here. You also see more christians posting outright falsehoods, superstitious myths they claim are fact, bible stories they claim are literal and true despite no evidence of any kind to back them up, etc.
It's not "fear" of the truth of christianity (you made me laugh with that one!), it's just that there is so much more ignorance and superstition posted here by christians to correct, that's all :)

Christianity and Islam are the only two I care to go after, as they are the only two to try to make everyone believe they are the one only SOLE correct religion.
Islam's been laying low lately. That's why you're not seeing it. Get your muslim brothers and sisters in YHVH active and you'll see some muslim bashing.

As an atheist I don't "go after" anybody. If you need to have a faith then fine by me. Why can't people accept the fact that some of us don't need a bedtime story of a higher, supreme being to live our lives? How about you start wondering why you feel it necessary to talk about your religion? Don't push your views on others, please.
