I am trying to say that I am looking forward to meeting up with somebody, but in French, and I'm not sure which verb I should use. I know the literal translation but would that make any sense and convey the meaning?

"J'ai hâte de rencontrer (cette personne)". One can also say :"je suis impatient(e) de rencontrer (cette personne)" which is very correct too. But I think one says 'j'ai hâte" more often.

I got the really great deal on some French dictionaries at the thrift shop so: j'attends avec impatience...
I also looked up anticipate it gave these words: prevoir and s'attendre a...
nous ne prevoyons pas d'ennuis.
je m'attends a ce qu'il vienne.
and
pensez-vous que ce sera facile?
