Check kayak.com. It is the best flight search website because it searches all the major carriers (US Air, United, Delta, etc.) and the discount websites (CheapTickets, Expedia, etc.) too. It is an all in one search engine so you don't have to go to each website individually. I have found amazing deals on there!

Try Flyglobespan or American Airlines. British Airways has a sale on now as well i think. There are loads of places. Just type cheap flights to New York from??? into your search engine to get budget companies.
