The actual installation shouldnt take more than 30 minutes. How long they might keep you waiting is another question.I give it 1 hour from time you walk in to time you leave.

Should take 30 minutes or so to install you should expect to have your vehicle within 1 hour from time you left it. If you already have an aftermarket receiver the work should be less than 5 minutes. Check with store to schedule installations.

You should call Best Buy and have it fire that sales rep. he didn't knew ****. You can't bridge head unit channels to convert 2 ch into 1 ch. You can do it only in amplifiers which allow it. In your case you have to options. Or buy another set of speaker ans install them somehow in your car or just don't use the remaining speaker wires. Put some electrical tape to avoid short circuits in the wires and set the fad er to the front or back depending which channels you choose.

Depends on the car. Usually it is the front door speakers that can take time. My son just got his done in 90 minutes (from the time we dropped it off) at Circuit City, the day after Christmas, with door and rear speakers, and the stereo unit.

We got ours installed last year. Best Buy said 3 days (pending backup) so we went to Circuit city and they had our radio in....in about 45 minutes. :)
