Have one of these: orchid theme for beauty and simplicity, daisies for happiness, roses for love, violets for comfort, hyacinths for laughter...ect.

What are your interests? What are your fiance's interests? Which ones do you share in common?
Your wedding should be a reflection of both of you. Maybe there is something that brought the two of you together, or a favorite restaurant (Italian, French, etc.) that you could draw a theme from, if that's what you want.
I agree with others who say you don't really need a theme, just a color scheme, really. In April, bright or light spring colors would be nice.
It's YOUR wedding. You don't have to do a theme just because your sister and best friends did. But if that's what you want, make it meaningful to you and your fiance.

Since it's April, how about an April Showers theme...use lots of crystals and rhinestones in the decorations (to give the impression of "rain drops"). Strings of small rhinestones from ceiling to table at the reception will mimic rain. Mirrors can be puddles. Sprinkle the mirrors with rose petals. "April showers bring may flowers". Flowers everywhere! Pretty parasols with rhinestones attached would look pretty too and you can have your attendants carry them. It will also make for some lovely pictures with all the "fire and flash".
Heck, I like this idea so much, I'm going to send it to my daughter who is also planning a spring wedding.

You can have like a seret garden theme or a rainforest theme. Have a lot of foliage and you can release butterflies and have a few pets to spice it up. Or the theme could be an Aqua world and have it in an aquarium or just a place with the right set up for it. In the backgound like during dinner you could have wild life sounds.

April '08?
How about "Endless Love"? Or, "The Neverending Engagement"?
Seriously, I'm not sure I have any good (non-silly) ideas...but I need to take a break anyway. I'll think about this one and come back.
Best of luck to you both! Getting married is exciting, I've done it twice and like it enough to want to try again.

medieval theme. It's a lot of fun to have everyone in disguise. Or the beach in white, shoe-less. You have plenty of time. Even to change your mind about getting married so spend wisely for now.

It is your wedding. It is NOT prom. Themes are for high school dances and kids' birthday parties, not weddings.
Build your wedding around a message -- your love and commitment, preparation for your life together -- not a silly, superficial theme.

what the heck? Why do you need a theme? You're not going to an amusement park... you're taking solemn vows to love each other and stay together forever.
