is it ok for someone who's 13 to get a hickey from their boyfriend or is that perverted and stupid....is it ok or is there no use in getting one if you don't want your mom to see it???

13 is a hard age and a very young age to be thinking about these things but here is my advise. Hickeys are very juvenile and it shows very little class and very little respect. If you want guys to think you are easy, keep getting them... if you have any respect for yourself and you want others to respect you, quit while your ahead... please don't let guys think you are a sex object, if you let them treat you this way now, guys will act like they like you just to get one thing out of you then once they get what they want you will be yesterdays news. I don't think you want a life of heartache, make sure when you are with a guy, he really cares about you... don't rush into anything and if he pressures you, get rid of him... you'll know when your ready, but take your time.. make sure it's right (he's right) You are entering into life, it's up to you what kind of life you are going to have.... one where you will be loved, respected and cherished or one where guys are going to use and abuse you... hope you choose the right path and I hope this helped. I think you are too young to be thinking of stuff like that. A hickey is not going to make you more popular or liked. In my opinion getting a hickey is disgusting.

Some 13 year olds are more mature than others. It is definately to early for her to get a hickey, she did it probably to be cool.

Hickeys at any age are pointless and in my eyes childish. Everyone knows when they last made love with someone and there is no need to announce it to the world.

What's the point?
You are too young (I know you don't want to hear that, but still). And even when you're older, there's no point to getting a hickey. It looks gross and everyone around you will think you're easy.
And trust me, your mom will see it. I've been there and done that.

tttttt....WHy would you do that when all a hickey is is ugly and must hurt because all a hickey is is blood pulled to the surface. It like getting pinced very tightly and it turning red without drawing blood.Like a blood blister. What the dealie yo.

First of all let me tell you that a hickey is SUPER trashy!! They are not all they are cracked up to be and make no sense to me. I say stay away from them besides 13 is a bit young....

hickeys are ugly and stupid, as well as painful
only immature young teenagers want them. if you want to impress your mum with your new boyfriend, then dont. if she sees that he has been sucking on your neck, i dont think she would be happy, and will probably want your boyfriend on the other side of the planet far AWAY from you.
whats wrong with kissing? its nicer and more fun.
ive never had a hickey and im 20 years old. i dont plan on having one either.

it's ok to get a hickey but if you're soo worried about your mom finding out then don't get one where she'd see it or don't get it at all
