I am a ten year old boy...I'd like to learn if it is possible good people and bad people live together in a harmony on this world.If not I'd like to learn the reason....

Honey, you're asking about the formula for world peace, and nobody has figured that out yet. Basically we can't get along because we all are different and there's this thing called human nature that makes us at times selfish and greedy, sometimes good and sometimes bad. So good and bad people can and do live together in relative harmony, but obviously also in disharmony. So as long as we see the world from different perspectives and we look out mainly for number one, we will struggle to get along.

This is one of the best questions I have seen posed on Yahoo! Answers.
The answer is not so great. In many households and in every society on Earth there are combinations of good and bad people. We do manage to live together, but never completely in harmony.
If we did not have laws and police we would have a very difficult world to live in. There are many societies that live in a constant state of war because there is no one strong enough to enforce the laws.
In the USA, there are laws that allow people a great deal of freedom and those laws are protected by most of the society. The protection comes from the idea that if I exercise my rights, then I have to let others exercise their rights. There are still quite a few people who believe they can break the laws and that is why we have prisons.
The answer to your question is yes and no. Yes we can live in harmony, but only with laws, police and prisons. No, because bad people have no conscience and therefore will never allow good or other bad people to live freely.
