I don't think they fear retribution. I think it is more of a pride thing. Think about it, you've been the king of the hill and now you're going to be knocked down. That's a scary thing for anyone. Change is hard.

Personally, I don't mind. I like the diversity.

Because the white Europeans who founded this country founded it on "White" ideals not colored peoples if you ask the Snakeheads or KKK. It's because white people controlled this land for years and are afraid of becoming a minority because then they won't have all the power in government anymore.

I am a mixed as cracker/******, Norweigen no good half breed. In other words, I'm a full bread American. I don't care who comes to the country as long as they don't try to change the rules that were made when this country was established. If you want to change the constitution than you are sining against the founding fathers of this great country.

meh not afraid really. its more inequality though. when i was applying for scholarships. out of 4 pages front and back, white males could apply for 2. if you were a white female you could applyl for 3. there were at least 10 for african americans, and asians, and native indians. *shrug*

i could care less. but if we want to do away with racism, perhaps we should start by creating a real equality. giving privelages to certain people only give others a reason to hate them.

We're afraid of minority coffee, food and culture.

Have you ever seen an espresso machine in tiny Mexican villages? No. No you haven't. But, I bet you've seen them in tiny white people villages, like .. Seattle!

Also, Texans... Those people are the only ones who figured out how to deep fry sushi!

yes. they fear their power being taken away from them. i am "white" but i don't like the corruption any more than you do. i think our white male government system needs to suck it up and get over themselves. this whole "illegal alien" thing could have a simple solution is they weren't being to racist!

What would happen if I told you that liberal democracy was the product of European culture? This answer would be flagged as racist. *That* indicates pretty clearly why they're afraid.
