i am in a challenge w some friends to loose weight n we are trying to be fair by getting percentage instead of weight lost only. because every body is different

You can try calculating BMI - Body Mass Index.
BMI indicates your health risks by comparing your height and weight. Males with a BMI above 27.8 and women over 27.3 are considered overweight. Males with a BMI less than 20.7 and women below 19.1 are classified as underweight.


Its a simple measurement but it may be effective for what you want.
