That's the funny thing... I never really believed in Santa. Even my parents tell me that when I was a toddler, if I asked who 'that guy in the suit is' and they told me he was Santa, I'd push the issue and want to know the name of the man wearing the Santa outfit.

Funny thing is, I did believe in the tooth fairy for quite some time. I stopped beliving when the tooth fairy left me money and forgot the tooth (turns out -- dad couldn't find it). So the next night I put it in an envelope and hung it on the outside of my door for the tooth fairy to pick up. When it was again 'forgotten'... that was my big wakeup call.

Good thing though, that the tooth fairy doesn't exist. My parents couldn't gross people out by showing them the collection of my baby teeth in my baby book.

A tradition I proudly kept by demanding that the orthodontic surgeon remove my wisdom teeth whole and give them to me afterwards...

Well it wasn't Santa, but sinterklaas ( I'm from Holland) and I felt totally betrayed by my parents. I truly believed for years that this guy came to holland every year to bring presents. Even when the kids in scholl told me that it wasn't true, I still believed it, cause my parents had told me it was true. When they finally told me it wasn't true, I was outraged. I felt like a total *ss towards the kids in my school and I could not understand that my folks had been lying to me for all these years.

I fairly had it discovered while i grew to become into around 10 or so. I remember it grew to become into genuine previous due at night, around 1am, and my sister and that i had fell asleep in our mom and dad room. I wakened and my mom and dad weren't in there. The door grew to become into close yet i ought to take heed to human beings gently speaking. I opened the door and walked out into our kitchen (our house is unquestionably huge, ranch style so our kitchen is amazingly long between the mattress room and the front room) and that i observed my mom and dad, my older brother, and my grandparents sitting around speaking. My mom jumped up and got here as much as me asking what grew to become into incorrect and that if i did no longer get to mattress Santa does no longer come!!! seems they have been up having some chitchat in the previous putting all of our "presents from Santa" out, and fixing up our stockings. ultimate have confidence I jumped back into mattress, despite if I did think of they have been having a social gathering with out me! LOL

I was never taught that there was a Santa so it wasn't a big deal to me. I was left to figure everything out on my own in life.

i thought ho hum.

i actually came to the conclusion myself, by wondering how santa could visit all these houses in one night. it honestly didnt bother me that much. it was just a fun little thing my parents did for me.

they still label things "from santa" to be funny and what not. no harm in it at all.

he still exists in our hearts.

(The first time I read this, I thought it said Satan instead of Santa)

I was indifferent towards his existence. I had been using my wish on others instead of myself.

Relieved. The idea of a fat bearded guy coming into my house every Christmas and stealing my cookies just never sat right with me.

I never believed in him. We were very poor and I knew full well that the only Christmas gifts we received came from the community and church donations.

You're crazy.

I can't see the wind, but I know it's there.

I can feel Santa all around me, too.

Er, wait a minute...

I felt lied to. Before that, I felt the same way about god's existence.
